A waterproof jacket is essential when riding, training or racing in the rain. POC have created just that garment, with the AVIP Rain Jacket. Featuring fully tapered seams, waterproof zippers and a Durable water repellent (DWR) treated fabric keeping water out so you remain dry and comfortable inside.

Fully taped seams and waterproof zippers stop even the slightest of leakage. The specially developed DWR treated fabric is made up of 3 laminated layers and claims to be 10,000mm waterproof on the water column scale.

POC have extensively tested the jacket to specify the fit with a rider’s position to ensure comfort in the saddle. A long rear cut acts as a splashguard, stopping cold road spray from going up your back. The arms also have a long cut, again to keep moisture from entering the sleeves. This is further helped by the addition of Velcro wrist closures for a snug and watertight fit.

Staying dry on the outside is all well and good, but if you are a sweaty hot mess on the inside you won’t be comfortable. Laser cut ventilation inlets under the arms prevent overheating and allow for optimum levels of breathability.

POC’s AVIP mantra has been used with a reflective logo on the back and arm as well as highly visible, orange colour scheme for an unmissable, eye catching and bold design.
