Created in 2013, the Granfondo V2 Titanium Frameset has used the original Granfondo Titanium's Custom Drawn TI3AL/2.5V tubing and geometry. Kinesis though did not sit on their laurels as they added a new tapered Tracer 1.5 monocoque carbon fork and redesigned the headtube, tapering it using high quality billet titanium.

The Tracer 1.5 monocoque carbon fork has been added as a lightweight, 450-gram addition to the package. Featuring a 1.5" tapered steerer, which allows for precision handling and a direct ride. The fork also boasts clearance for anything up to a 28c tyre. A frameset for all seasons, the Tracer also accommodates long drop brake calipers, allowing for full mudguards, with plenty of clearance. The eyelets on the whole frameset are welded rather than riveted, this provides extra durability and strength, as they won't loosen.

The high quality, double butted tubing has been cold worked and stress relieved for increased strength and ride compliance. The downtube is made from Bi-ovalised tubing, providing smooth integration from bottom bracket to headtube.

Welds have been highly stressed, preventing water penetration. Curved 2m radius seatstays deliver a supreme level of comfort, making for a smooth ride, especially on long distances.

A frameset with performance and responsiveness at its heart. A lowered bottom bracket shell improves cornering, handling and fit.

Re-profiling the toptube, using horizontal ovalisation, has improved stiffness laterally, especially important when out of the saddle, putting the power through the pedals.

Durability is catered for with tough 7mm dropouts, which are double eyeleted to house both mudguards and a rear rack, this results in one of the most versatile framesets around.

A chain keeper protects the frameset and slotted stops make for easy cable servicing and accessibility.
