The Kask Protone Tour of Dubai Ltd Edition Helmet is, as the names suggests, a one of a kind helmet, which has been designed to pay homage to the early season Tour of Dubai professional cycle race. The Protone is a high performance, well ventilated, lightweight and stylish addition, ideal for racing, sportives and training.

A poorly fitting helmet is next to useless, so Kask's Octo Fit adjustment system is a welcome addition. This allows you to easily and precisely achieve the perfect fit, both sideways and vertically, using the Rubberised Micro Dial adjuster.

Adding protection, the Protone uses in-moulding technology, which improves shock absorption. This technology fuses the inner polystyrene shell to the outer polycarbonate one. MIT technology, found in all Kask helmets, also helps to offer a high degree of protection. The helmet's all encompassing design means it sits low at the back and at the front of the head for added coverage.

Comfort is provided with an ECO chinstrap. This is soft against the skin and is made from eco-leather. The strap is anallergic and washable, so should not irritate the skin. The floating cradle design includes internal gel pads. This cradle is allowed to move freely, by 180°, allowing the helmet to fit a range of head shapes.

Used in the flat lands of Dubai and the mountains of France by the likes of Chris Froome and Bradley Wiggins, the Protone is ideal to be used in the heat and uses 3D DRY padding to wick away moisture quickly. The 8 vents on the front and 6 on the back also help to keep your head cool by channelling warm air out from the helmet.

Tested on the road and in the windtunnel, the CPD designed Protone is aerodynamic in a range of head positions. This means even if you like to ride staring down at your stem like Froome you can still reap the aerodynamic benefit.

Weighing 250 grams and coming in a medium size, the Kask Protone Tour of Dubai Ltd Edition Helmet is available in a dark blue colour. Adding the finishing touches are a Dubai flag on the rear side and a Tour of Dubai graphic adorning the top of the helmet.
