The Giro Empire Womens Road Shoe turn heads for all of the right reasons. The retro lace-up design combines with cutting-edge lightweight materials and construction techniques to form a truly remarkable shoe.

The laced design of the Empire is no gimmick; laces provide an incredibly lightweight, adjustable and comfortable closure system. Through varying lacing patterns you are able to customise medial and lateral pull across the foot, ensuring you are able to achieve a comfortable fit no matter what shape foot you have. A Lace Garage is located on the tongue of the shoe, this is where you store the excess lace, after tying, so they don't interfere with anything whilst riding.

The upper of the Empire shoes is made from Giro's EvoFibre material that is incredibly breathable and provides superb ventilation all over the foot. EvoFibre is also very light and supple, the material will mould to the shape of your foot for all-day comfort.

The latest version of the Empire features an Easton EC90 ACC sole, which is stiffer than previous generations and ensures optimum power is delivered to the pedals. The Empire has a low stack height of 6.5mm, achieving the sense of a direct connection with the pedals.

Included with the Empire shoes is the SuperNatural Fit Kit, this is a footbed system that allows you to customise the insole depending on the level of arch your feet have. A properly supported arch will dramatically reduce the chance of injury over long periods of time and boost comfort whilst riding.
