Edco Aerosport Umbrial Clincher Wheelset
Weighing in at only 1488g for the pair, the Edco Aerosport Umbrial Clincher Wheelset has been specifically designed to conquer climbs like the Umbrial Pass - which peaks at 2501 metres. Staying stiff, lightweight and versatile makes this wheelset more than capable for the mountains ahead and behind these features are Edco’s use of 9km 8mm twill weave and 3k rim bed with Kevlar reinforcements.
A whole new braking surface has also been incorporated by utilising an ILT surface which improves braking in the wet, giving greater control on huge descents and varying conditions. Adding to this, Edco have included a pair of Continental Grand Prix 4000SII tyres that have been proven to increase grip, provide a low rolling resistant and enhance puncture protection.
The Edco Aerosport Umbrial Clincher Wheelset also comes with Edco’s patented MultiSys cassette body, increasing their versatility and making them compatible with both Campagnolo and Shimano/SRAM systems.
