The ENVE 2.2 SES Clincher Front Wheel Chris King R45 Black Hub offers the highest quality and performance when it comes to lightweight pro-level clincher wheels. ENVE's industry-leading rim technology combines with Chris King's world-class R45 hub for fast and stiff rolling.
Made from the highest-grade carbon fibre, the front rim weighs an impressive 281g, but stays stiff enough to handle the constant power needed to be applied to power up the most testing climbs, whilst the incorporation of ENVE’s latest brake track technology is sure to allow full enjoyment during the rewarding descent.
Braking performance has been a real focus in the development of the SES 2.2 rims. The textured and reinforced surface is designed to create increased friction and heat dissipation between the pad and the rim, allowing for elevated and equal braking performance in both the wet and the dry.
The Chris King R45 Hub has been designed to maintain an aerodynamic package due to a low profile hub body and precision made-in-house bearings that roll effortlessly with hassle-free longevity. A 5-year built-to-last warranty comes as standard with Chris King hubs.
The new 2.2 SES rim profile builds on ENVE's expertise in rim development. Despite being a shallow 25mm rim the 2.2 rims have a wider rim design at 27mm for greater stability and a cleaner drag profile.
