Cervelo R5 Ultegra Road Bike 2017
The new Cervelo R5 Ultegra Road Bike 2017 brings the RCA’s Project California technology to a broader audience, integrating category-defining lightweight engineering, stiffness, ride quality, and new aerodynamic Squoval3™ tube shapes. Light and stiff, the R5 now offers a 7.4-watt aero advantage thanks to the latest Squoval™ technology family of tube shapes. With a 9.5% stiffer bottom bracket compared to the last generation R5, this bike is perfect for acceleration, climbing or on the attack, while a 15% increase in torsional headtube stiffness offers improved handling.
The R5's new fork shape improves side stiffness and front compliance while maintaining aero performance. Future-proof cable routing is ready for mechanical, electronic and hydraulic gears so it is no wonder the R5 was a favourite among the Grand Tour riders of Team Garmin-Sharp. All of this combines to raise the bar on the legendary ride quality of the R5 series bike. With its comfortable feel, phenomenal low weight and superior stiffness, the R5 deliver on Cervelo’s promise of faster, lighter, stiffer and stronger bikes.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
