Cervelo R5 Frameset 2017
Evolving from the top of the range Cervelo Rca mould, the R5 is the ideal all round road bike, offering lightening fast, responsive handling, a state of the art carbon fibre frame and fork and numerous wins to its name.
The numbers do not lie. The new R5 is now 7.4 watts more aerodynamic than its predecessor, due to its Squoval tube design. Power delivery has been refined with a bottom bracket that is 9.5% stiffer than the previous R5. This improves acceleration, whether that be sprinting or climbing. This frameset corners like it's on rails, no doubt due to the 15% increase in torsional head tube stiffness.
Boasting a new carbon fibre fork with a redesigned shape that improves stiffness, maintains it's comfortable ride credentials and adds comfort.
A truly versatile frameset that uses future-proof cable routing ideal for pairing with electronic, hydraulic and mechanical gear and brake systems.
FSA are an Italian company with a rich history in producing high-quality components. They have added their reliable IS3 headset as well as a BBright™ bottom bracket and an FSA K-Force seatpost to the frameset.
