The Alpha construction is a total rethinking of the winter jacket with a separation of the windproof and insulating layers on the front of the jacket. Combining with the Alpha construction is the 7x(Air) technology. Castelli have quilted their WindShear fabric to give added air permeability through thousands of quilting holes. You will not actually feel the wind flow; you’ll just feel drier, making for one of the most breathable windproof fabrics to ever hit the market.

Fleece inserts on the front as well as an articulated fleece collar provide protection from the cold no matter what cycling position you adopt while the raw-edge wrist cuffs and waist lie flat to seal off any unwanted cold airflow.

Three external pockets provide ample space for all of your cycling essentials and are easily accessible even whilst wearing the thickest of winter gloves. The neat addition of a front key pocket is perfect for your keys or any valuables that you want to keep close.
