Cannondale Synapse Sora Alloy Road Bike 2018
As the next step up in the Cannondale Synapse range, the Cannondale Synapse Sora Alloy Road Bike 2018 features impressive componentry that’s bound to get you into the world of cycling and enjoying the miles with your friends.
At the heart of the Synapse Claris Road Bike is the Cannondale Synapse SmartForm C2 Alloy frame and Cannondale Synapse SAVE fork. This combination is constructed from Cannondale’s lightweight and strong alloy, and provides the comfort needed to ride for long periods of time, whilst staying stiff enough to be both efficient and high-performing.
The Shimano Sora 3500, 9-speed drivetrain is the step up from the Synapse Sora Alloy Road Bike 2017, providing you with a wider range of gearing to really fine-tune your ride and performance. This extra gearing allows you to take on more testing terrain and push yourself that little bit further, all whilst the construction of the drivetrain is built to last longer.
The Promax RC-459 long reach brakes also boast a strong construction that’s reliable and powerful, allowing for greater confidence when descending.
RS 32-hole front and rear wheels, combined with Schwalbe Lugano 700x25c, clincher tyres perfectly compliment each other and ensure you’ve got the right level of grip and puncture resistance. The 700x25c tyres are fast rolling and durable, and the wheels are lightweight and strong - perfect for everything from gran fondo’s to local spins with your friends.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
