Another innovation of the Synapse range is the SAVE PLUS micro-suspension technology. This provides a smooth and comfortable ride thanks to manipulation of the frame tubing and the carbon fibre fork. This allows it to absorb road vibrations and shocks, preventing these from fatiguing you, by complying vertically. Cunningly though, it is still plenty stiff enough laterally that you can get out the saddle and kick up a hill or away from other riders.

A feature packed bike with Shimano's excellent 11-speed, 105 5800 groupset for crisp and reliable shifting as well as more than enough gears to see you over any terrain. A reliable and stylish FSA Gossamer crankset offers a double chainring setup and features a reliable and versatile, FSA BB30 bottom bracket.

Featuring a Maddux RD 3.0 Disc rim, built onto Formula CX20 front and CX 22 rear hubs, resulting in a lightweight, durable and responsive wheelset. These high performance set of wheels are adorned with Schwalbe Lugano 25c tyres that offer immense puncture protection and grip in both the wet and dry.

Disc brakes offer immense stopping power and the Promax Render R 160 millimetre front and 140 millimetre rear brakes are no different. Reliable, easy to maintain and perform impeccably.

Cannondale have used their C3 range for the compact wing butted alloy handlebar, 6 degree stem and 25.4 millimetre seat post, which adds comfort and minimises road buzz.

Comfort is further enhanced with gel incorporated Cannondale Grip Bar Tape and a Cannondale Women's Road Ergo saddle to finish off what is a sensational disc equipped road bike.
