Cannondale SuperX Ultegra Cyclocross Bike 2016
Getting down and dirty is any avid cyclocross rider's idea of fun and no other bike is more synonymous with this type of muddy merrymaking than the Cannondale Super X Ultegra Cyclocross Bike 2016. Whether its snow, slush, sand or just your bog standard mud, the Super X can provide you with the advantage over the competition.
The Cannondale SuperX Disc Carbon frame is super-light and super stiff thanks to the carbon composite BallisTec material. This super-strong material is also highly impact resistant as the network of interconnected fibres act to spread impacts and force evenly across the frame.
Cannondale's SPEED SAVE technology has been integrated into the rear fork to eliminate vibrations with flattened chain and seatstays. SPEED SAVE also works to create a mini suspension system that can absorb shocks and vibrations in the front fork, allowing you to stay seated and pedalling when others have been forced out of the saddle.
A tapered head tube creates a stiffer junction upfront for improved steering precision so you can spend more time going faster with confidence.
The disc brake formulation of the frame not only provides better stopping power but also allows for far more fork and rear stay clearance between the tyre and the frameset so you have far less chance of being slowed down by mud blockages.
Paired this superb frame is Shimano's Ultegra 6800 11-speed groupset with an 11-28 rear cassette and 46/36 front crankset. This ensures that you can pedal confidently over even the toughest gradients. With the Ultegra groupset comes smooth shifting, allowing you to put the power down around the entire course.
Of course all of these superb features would be for nothing if it wasn't for the mud busting Schwalbe Racing Ralph tyres, which help you keep traction over the loosest of terrain.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. Visit our Bike Assembly page to see how you assemble your new bike once you receive it.
All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
