The SiSl2 Hollow technology bonds together two machined and heat-treated clamshell halves with a strong anaerobic bonding agent. This hollow design, alongside extensive Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and physical testing allowed Cannondale to refine the shape of the cranks for the ultimate stiffness-to-weight ratio.
As a result, the Cannondale Hollowgram SiSl2 Chainset is light enough for Cannondale's pro-level road bike while also being tough enough for their cyclocross and mountain bike offering too. The 52/36T mid-compact chainrings provide a wide range of gearing options and the BB30 bottom bracket compatibility allows for smooth and powerful pedalling.
