What this rim profile also possesses is a D3 Dual Directional Design. This ingenious profile cuts drag dramatically over the tyre-leading and rim-leading edges as well as reducing turbulence over the centre of the wheel. A reinforced carbon braking surface ensures strong and reliable braking even in wet conditions.
Bontrager's ultra-light, stiff and strong OCLV is durable and more than ready to withstand the torque you put through the wheel. The TLR rim system means that this wheel is ready for a quick transition to a tubeless setup and the included TLR rim strip and TLR valve stem means that setup is a quick and easy process, when combined with the TLR conversion kit (sold separately).
The hub includes DT Swiss internals with a star ratchet, so engagement is fast and solid, allowing you to put the power down through the pedals with confidence and efficiency. Compatible with Shimano and SRAM 10 or 11-speed cassettes, this rear wheel can be easily and quickly integrated into your dream bike.
