The Italian company 3T have a long and illustrious history of working with some of cycling's best riders and teams. This allows them to offer the same components the pros use to you the consumer. The 3T Ionic 0 Team Carbon/Alu Seatpost is one of the newest additions to their team line up. Made from a concoction of the finest materials, with a carbon fibre shaft, keeping the weight down, dampening road buzz and adding comfort. This has been paired with an alloy head and stainless steel bolts, which add durability.

A lightweight addition to a road or triathlon bike, the post weighs just 200 grams in the 31.6 millimetre x 280 millimetre option.

The '0' refers to this post's zero setback. This puts the saddle and the rider further forward and nearer to the bottom bracket. Moving further forward is ideal for fast riding, racing or powering up climbs.

A frame with a slack seat tube often sits the rider a long way back, so the Ionic 0 Team Carbon/Alu Seatpost is perfect to get the rider into a more aggressive position.

Setting up your saddle in the correct position is simple with the alloy DiffLock seat clamp. This is a splined design and allows the rider to accurately set up the saddle's fore/aft position and angle. The side mounted bolts securely hold the saddles rails in place. The ingenious seat clamp allows fore/aft position to be adjusted without changing saddle angle.

A Uni-Directional (UD) gloss black finish boasts bold 3T graphics and a bright red stripe running down the length of the post, harking back to the Ionic's team edition status.
