Demo Weekend | April 8th - 9th 2017
Date: 8th -9th April 2017
Where: Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking, Surrey
Price: £30 per day (refundable with any bike purchase)
With the rain, sleet and snow we’ve had recently, it’s hard to picture those first glorious days of spring when you start to feel a touch of warm sun on your back as you hit your favourite climb. But, they are coming, and we’re celebrating one of the best times of the year to be out on a bike with a Spring Classics themed demo weekend.
In 2017 Sigma Sport turns 25, and to celebrate this milestone, we’re running a series of events to bring the cycling community together and celebrate the sport we love. On the 8th - 9th of April we’ll be taking over an area of Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking, Surrey to create the UK’s premium demo day, working with the best bike brands in the world and offering you the chance to ride the bike of your dreams.
What’s included in your ticket:
- Access to a range of bikes from leading brands (in a range of sizes)
- Food & Drink (including pork baps, Belgium beers, tea, coffee and more)
- A live screening of the Paris - Roubaix event (Sunday 9th)
- Your money back with any bike purchased after the ride*
Get up close and personal with your dream bike
Running over two days, guests will be able to choose between a range of premium bike brands to take out on rides around the Surrey Hills, or simply use the dedicated hill climb on the wine estate to compare a number of different brands/styles to find the right bike for you. Taking in some of the UK's most iconic cycling roads, you will be able to test ride bikes from brands including:
You’ll have the choice of taking a range of bikes out in short periods, or pre-booking your dream ride* and joining our guides on a route that’ll take on some of the toughest climbs Surrey has to offer and give you 2 to 3 hours to get acquainted with your dream machine. These challenge rides will run on both Saturday and Sunday, for approx 3 hours, and offer a “performance” route for those looking to test the legs at the beginning of Spring.
We will be providing a full list of bikes that will be available on the day to those registered, via email, nearer the event. Bikes being booked for the challenge ride will be on a first come first serve basis.
Join us for Paris - Roubaix
As the event falls on the weekend of Paris / Roubaix, we’ll be keeping the food and drink in a traditional classics style, with frites and mayo on offer to those who require some refueling after their ride. Of course, there will be some Belgium beers on offer too. On Sunday, we’ll be showing Paris - Roubaix on a big screen, so after you’ve had a chance to ride some great bikes, you’ll be able to relax and watch the pro’s take on one of most iconic races of the season.
We’ll be providing more details of the Challenge Ride route and a list of bikes that will be available shortly, but in the meantime, if you have any questions about the event, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.

The atmosphere plus weather and the kindness and courtesy with which we were treated by Bike Division could not have been bettered and of course Callum was just brilliant. The meal at the Michelin star restaurant was the "icing on the cake"!"
