The annual Core Bike Show opened its doors to the cycling trade once again this year and Sigma Sport went along to take a look at what 2015 has to offer from brands such as; Colnago, Felt, Castelli, POC, F'izi:k and many more. Here's a selection of products that caught our eye:
A high performance women's road bike, the CLD uses Colnago Artemis wheels, a women's specific Colnago branded saddle and Shimano's fast shifting Ultegra 6800 11-speed groupset.
Quite possibly one of the fastest bikes we saw at the show. The Felt IA FRD Triathlon/TT bike is designed with speed in mind. No expense has been spared, with a Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 9070 groupset and Zipp carbon fibre wheels. Both these additions compliment the carbon fibre frameset.
Fizik keep both road and mountain bikers happy with their Aliante (top left), Antares (bottom left) and Thar saddles( top and bottom right). Comfortable and stylish, these saddles all feature Fizik's distinctive Italian styling.
Ideal for commuting or racking up the miles on, the Kinesis Racelight T2 features full length mudguards and a bullet proof Shimano R501 wheelset.
If you fancy getting off-road the Crosslight is the bike for you. With powerful disc brakes and a lightweight, orange aluminium frame.
Disc road bikes are all the rage and Kinesis' Racelight GF_Ti looks fantastic. It may be a prototype but we can't wait to see the finished article.
There was no chance we were going to miss the POC Octal Helmet in these bright colours. Used by Cannondale Garmin Professional Cycling Team, this is a race-ready helmet, which offers excellent, all round protection.
Whatever the weather, POC have it covered, with a range of gloves offering AVIP protection and raceday performance.
Cheat the wind with POC's range of aero helmets. The new Cerebel features a short tail design, while the Octal Aero is an understated yet fast road helmet.
Celebrating 30 years of Oakley, from Greg Lemond to Mark Cavendish, these glasses have been worn by some of the fastest men on two wheels.
Make your ride companions envious with the ENVE handlebar and stem range. Lightweight, stiff and finished off with bold graphics.
ENVE are known for their high performance wheels and there were plenty on display at Core Bike Show. From shallow Classics to deep 8.9 aero wheels, the American company produce strong, fast spinning hoops for a range of terrains.
Used by Thibault Pinot who claimed the Best Young Riders classification and took 3rd overall at the 2014 Tour de France, the BBB Icarus helmet is a lightweight, well ventilated lid.
