Workshop Pricing
More hands make light work!At Sigma Sport we strive to exceed our customers demands and appreciate that workshop lead times during the busy summer months can be a source of frustration. We have invested heavily in additional staff recently and now boast four highly competent mechanics and two fully equipped workshops which mean greatly improved turnaround times for all our customers...
All workshop jobs must be booked in through the workshop; you can either call in to the shop or ring us on 020 8943 4443 (option 3 from the voice menu). When we confirm your booking we will also ask you to leave a contact number, as you will receive a call from our workshop a few days prior to remind/confirm your service. Your bike must be with us by 11am on the day of your service and it will be ready for collection by 5.30pm that afternoon as long as there are no unforeseen issues. If you would like to drop your bicycle in to us prior to the day of service please arrange this at the time of booking.
When the bike is brought in a member of staff will go through your requirements and provide you with an outline estimate of what will be required. Should this change when we start work we will contact you, so it is vital that you leave us a contact telephone number and/or email address. We also ask that the bike be in a clean condition for us to work on. Excessive cleaning may be subject to a charge over and above any servicing costs.
All four of Sigma Sport's mechanics have had many years experience of working on road bikes and are CyTech accredited. CyTech is a qualification administered by the Association of Cycle Traders and endorsed by the Bicycle Association of Great Britain.
A basic inspection, ideal for checking a recently purchased bike. This service if FREE to any customer who has had a bike built by Sigma Sport as long as it is booked in within the first six weeks of ownership. The majority of these services are carried out on a Saturday, but weekly bookings are available. You can also pre-arrange to have this service done on a ‘while you wait’ basis.
This is a basic service that is ideal for someone who wants the bike checked over before a big race or for newer/less used bikes that simply don't need a Silver service.
This is our most popular service and is recommended for all bikes in regular use which have between 6 and 8 months use since their last service or as an annual service.
(*) Should the hubs need servicing an additional charge of £15 per wheel will be added plus the cost of any parts required.
(**) Should the headset need re-greasing the charge will be £10, fitting a new headset will be £15 plus the cost of the new headset.
This is the most comprehensive service we carry out, as the bike is fully stripped down and re-built. Recommended as an annual service for any bike in regular to heavy use.
