Product description
The EPS sits just below the C59 in Colnago's range for 2011 and is an Italian-made, carbon fibre lugged beauty. The frame is constructed from a blend of ultra-high and high modulus unidirectional composite finished with a 3K twill. The down tube has a variable (40mm/35mm) conical shape with internal re-inforcement ribs along its surface to improve the frame's resistance to the stresses encountered under effort . The rear triangle features the tried and tested B-stay and (foglia) leaf shape chain stays providing that fine balance of punchy acceleration combined with the ability to stay composed on poor quality road surfaces.
NOTE: Although the EPS is now in short supply but we are lucky enough to have a few examples in stock.
Frame: Lugged carbon fibre main triangle in a 3K weave. B-stay seat stays and leaf-shaped chainstays.
Fork: EPS fork and C-HS1 integrated headset.
Groupset: Supplied as a frame and fork only. Requires a 31.6mm seatpost. A Colnago branded option can be painted to match your chosen colour scheme for an additional charge.
